MM3 Artist Proof Cards

Sat Nov 15, 2008, 12:14 PM
In true Travis fashion, I have waited until the last minute to get my Artist Proof cards done for the Marvel Masterpiece 3 series. A lot of people have been asking about them, but between my full-time job, side jobs, and Nanowrimo, I haven't been able to give them much thought. However, the deadline to get these guys approved is coming up, so I'm going to be working on them this weekend. So, if anyone would like to commission any, let me know asap.

Commission rules and pricing:

1. $45 per card

2. I'll do up to two characters per card, but any more than that and it'll start getting too crowded.

3. All cards must be approved by UpperDeck and Marvel. Obviously, I won't charge you if the card doesn't get approved. But here are some of their rules, so you know what definitely will not be approved:

NO Nazi symbology (this includes Iron Crosses, Iron Eagles, swastikas, etc.)

NO zombie iterations of any Marvel character

NO nudity

NO gore or over the top violence

NO licensed characters (Rom, G.I. Joe, Transformers, or any other licensed property Marvel has done over the years)

NO shots of any Marvel character smoking

4. I'll let you know when the card has been approved. Payment is due at that point, and then I will send you your card. I'll take paypal or check or money order, but personal checks must clear before I send the card. Payment must be received within two weeks of notification of approval.

5. Due to lack of time (and a lack of skill on my part with traditional media) cards will be rendered in b&w pencil only. For samples of the cards I did for the regular series, go to [link] [link] [link]

6. Also due to lack of time I will probably not be able to submit the card to you for approval before I submit it to Marvel, and once Marvel has approved it I can't change it. Sorry guys, my bad for procrastinating. If Marvel approves it, but you absolutely hate it, let me know and we can call the deal off and I'll just sell the card on ebay.

I hope that covers everything. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Awsome gallery, found them when I was looting the internet on great Star Wars pictures for a SW RPG group i currently is playing in.

Do you know how hard it is to find a good picture of a Feeorin merc/pirate? Or a Twi'lek male? Is there anyway for you to do our RP group?

Anyway, great gallery.

Hey there, loving your art. I'm a fellow D&D lover so the concept drawings for your RP campaigns are all like candy to me. Haha. Hope you're doing well. Keep on keepin' on! :]
