This is a rough concept I had for a female Chiss character for a Star Wars RPG campaign. I posted this originally on SWAG and there was a bit of a controversy over her being dressed inappropriately for a Chiss, as they are a more conservative race and hail from an ice planet. My feeling, however, is that characters are more interesting when they work against stereotypes. There are a million possibilities for why she might not act and dress like a typical Chiss.
I think that the coloring of this one--blue skin against red background--is very eye-catching, and it's drawn well. I agree that there's gotta be some reason for a Chiss to go against the grain and dress like that.

The Chiss rule, and I agree with you comment about working against stereotypes rather than with them. Star Wars has far too many stereotypes, so it is up to the fans to fight against them!
I always wondered what they looked like... i figured the females would pretty much look like the males, but you never know xD
nice job!

Yeah, in some of the SW races, the females look completely different from the males. But I made the same assumption here as you did, that with the Chiss they'd have basically the same features.
I kind of like the paradox of a sexy Chiss...hot, yet icy!
There's so much information out there about SW, that I think you just have to pick and choose what you like, and then tweak the stuff you don't...haha. It's all just for fun anyway.

Thanks for the compliments on the colors. This one was a bit experimental for me at the time.
